Service exports have become critical in global trade. Yet, available statistics are at the national level, and it is not easy to find services trade estimates at the sub-state level. Recently, we worked with a client who wanted us to propose an algorithm. The algorithm reflects the critical advantages of each state and builds on the publicly available datasets in the US. Our client relies on MS Excel, so we created data visualizations for our client to get the word out.
