Dr. Dorothy Rosenberg, co-founder. Dr. Rosenberg is a sociologist who combines extensive practical field experience with research and publications on social policy in fragile developing and transitional countries focused on ethnic conflict reduction and gender equity.
As a senior advisor at UNDP/HQ, she was responsible for global training and technical support to MDG monitoring and reporting in all UNDP country offices and the global Human Rights-based approach to Poverty Reduction project. She has led numerous policy analysis, project formulation, and evaluation missions involving desk reviews, field inspections, and semi-structured informant interviews in the past fifteen years. She has demonstrated capacity in building and leading teams of diverse backgrounds and an established record of producing clear, well-structured, high-quality reports under tight deadlines.
Dr. Sevinc Rende, co-founder. Dr. Rende is a feminist economist based in New York, USA. Her specialty is gender and social policy in countries without mature welfare regimes. She has participated in multi-national, national, and regional teams in Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the Middle East to assess and evaluate local programs and conditions on gender-based rights, poverty, and inequality in communities. In addition, following the repercussions of the protracted Syrian war, she has evaluated programs on youth refugee integration in Turkey.
Dr. Nihat Baysal, Senior Technical Consultant. Dr. Baysal has excellent technology and design skills in developing online training modules and interactive training platforms. Dr. Baysal has helped clients turn challenges into opportunities.
Dr. Ercan Solak, Senior Technical Consultant. Dr. Solak works on geocoding and map creation and developing big-data solutions for our clients. Much of Dr. Solak’s work has supported policy development and planning of marginalized and vulnerable populations in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Dr. Deniz Rende, Senior Technical Consultant. Dr. Rende has substantial experience in training and developing participatory and adult-learning principles modules. She has excellent skills in facilitation roles – supporting clients to solve challenging questions, and tackle new material.
